Took me about 3 weekends to complete. Very satisfying build and looks amazing with LED lights on!
What I love about this build is the details and how many pieces it consist of. I made this purchase to keep me busy while I recovered with surgery on my knee and it did that and more. I did not have any missing piece instead I had extra pieces im assuming it was Incase this was a RC version (which I’m sad about). You really have to pay attention to details.
Building this model was super fun. Instructions were clear, though a few steps could be more detailed. Once finished, it’s a jaw-dropping piece that gets tons of compliments from friends.
First off this kit is huge at almost 5000 pieces. it comes packaged well, with several boxes for different sections, and thankfully numbered bags for the build. the instruction manual is likewise large. I was lucky and not missing any pieces. I did not time myself overall it took me a couple of months to finish working a couple of hours a week in the evenings. As others pointed out, some steps in the manual can be confusing, but generally, I caught the error a page or two later and was able to quickly redo and move on. this is a more challenging kit, and I would not recommend it as your first build.
This is not just a toy — it’s a display centerpiece. The size, the metallic finish, and the fully functioning drivetrain make it a standout among my models. Very satisfied with this purchase!
The electroplated paint finish looks fantastic. Remote steering and adjustable suspension work smoothly. Highly recommended!
